I am 100% pro-choice and a lifelong feminist. I believe that the only people who should be involved in their healthcare decisions are the patient and their doctor. When elected I will oppose any and all legislation that attempts to limit access to abortion and other reproductive healthcare.

From the beautiful lakes, creeks, and wetlands to the stunning parks and trails, we must preserve the rich natural spaces in our communities. Fighting pollution, strengthening and expanding mass transit, and converting to renewable energy sources are just some of the ways we protect the land we share.

Every Minnesotan deserves a great public education. In the past, the state legislature has not been keeping its side of the bargain when it comes to school funding and our local communities have been left to make-up the difference. It is imperative that our state government fully-fund K-12 public schools and make sure funding keeps up with inflation. Our students deserve districts who can deliver a world class education to every single student, follow important state and federal mandates, fairly pay staff, and repair buildings.

Healthcare is a human right. No one should have to choose between their rent or their life-sustaining medications. Every Minnesotan must have access to affordable, high quality health care in their community. In addition, healthcare must include robust mental health services to support families and individuals in crisis, including chemical dependency.
